Membership Rules
- Registration to the Marconi Poker Palace (MPP) is required by all participants and is free of charge.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older to register.
- Photo ID and membership card must be supplied to participate in any MPP event.
- Standard No Limit Texas Hold’em game rules are in MPP events and such rules are available from our Tournament Director for your review as well as on our website.
- Other variations of Poker may take place at MPP. Games such as Omaha, Pineapple, Limit Hold’em, etc. Rules will also be available on our website.
- Chips used in MPP events have absolutely no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money as prohibited by law.
- Any participant caught colluding, cheating or behaving inappropriately as deemed by the Tournament Director may be disqualified and excluded from the event and future MPP events. The MPP Poker Manager’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Players must be Club Members in order to claim Free Roll or Club Promotional Prizes.
- Some major prizes awarded may require the winner to be 21 years of age. An alternative arrangement by MPP management will be organised if required.
- Members agree that the MPP has the sole right to be their major sponsor for marketing and promotional purposes for a period of 2 years from the date of winning any major prize at no cost to MPP.
- MPP members agree to be photographed whilst they are participating in the any MPP event held and agree to the publication of those photographs in various forms of media, including magazines, newspapers, flyers, brochures, internet, etc and agree to waive any rights they may have in that regard.
- Any or part thereof MPP rules may change without notice. Please check our website for current rules at www.marconipoker.com.au or ask your Tournament Director to view a printed copy.
- All rulings and decisions are left solely with the Tournament Director. They will settle any disputes and their decision will be final. Their decision will be made in keeping the best interest of the MPP members in mind.
